Job Overview
Provides technical subject matter expertise and hands on participation to maintain, troubleshoot and manage enterprise applications.
Essential Functions
• Manages the installation, maintenance, and upgrades of internal and external computer hardware and software systems used for designing, developing and deploying company products.
• Works with Infrastructure services, Engineering, Implementation Services & Support teams to provision and setup environments.
• Controls user access and passwords.
• Designs and guides development of automation scripts and best practice processes to minimize the human intervention for setting up, monitoring, scaling and updating environments.
• Proposes and guides implementation of system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.
• Monitors usage and performance.
• Responds to production issues escalated by client and support teams –requires a deep understanding of the application functionality, architecture and design, as well as production hardware infrastructure design.
• Trains personnel on system usage.
• Primary focus on supporting internal/direct environments for IQVIA Health SaaS applications.
• Duties may target monitoring of the cloud based environments, setting up production, test and development environments.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of related experience Req Or
• Master's Degree with 3 years of related experience Req Or
• Ph.D. Req
• Equivalent experience can be substituted for degree Req
• Incumbent must have in-depth knowledge of large scale enterprise IT Operation platforms.
Must be comfortable working within distributed, multi Cloud and hybrid IT environments. Must demonstrate ability to combine metrics, events and traces into a holistic IT Operation system. Must have good knowledge of server, network, virtualization, cloud and container technologies.
Incumbent supports IT Operation platform, integrations into corporate ticketing and notification systems. Ability to create dashboards, integrations and reports to give holistic view of the IT Operation infrastructure

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $93,100.00 - $155,100.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
