The FlexNet Operations Architect is responsible for defining the overall technical architecture, strategy, and governance of Honeywell’s FlexNet platform. This role provides architectural leadership across teams, ensuring the FlexNet ecosystem is scalable, secure, and aligned with business and operational objectives. The architect collaborates with stakeholders to design end‑to‑end solutions, guide implementation teams, and drive continuous modernization of the platform.

- Architect and design scalable, resilient, and secure solutions within the FlexNet platform to meet Honeywell’s operational and business needs.
- Define architectural standards, patterns, and best practices for FlexNet implementations and integrations.
- Lead technical assessments and provide guidance during solution design, planning, and estimation phases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including development, infrastructure, security, DevOps, and business partners—to ensure architectural alignment and feasibility.
- Review and validate solution designs produced by development teams to ensure compliance with architectural guidelines.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide strategic guidance to resolve root causes.
- Oversee the evolution of the FlexNet roadmap, introducing optimizations, modernization initiatives, and technology improvements.
- Document architecture artifacts, including solution designs, data flows, integration patterns, and platform standards.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements relevant to licensing systems, entitlement management, and FlexNet.
YOU MUST HAVE
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in software architecture, enterprise systems, or large-scale platform design.
- Proven experience with FlexNet Operations, FlexNet Licensing, or similar entitlement/software monetization platforms.
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns, enterprise architecture principles, and cloud/on‑prem hybrid solutions.
- Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in FlexNet environments (Python, Java, C#, etc.) to effectively guide development teams.
- Expertise in database systems and strong ability to analyze and optimize complex queries and data models.
- Solid understanding of security best practices, API frameworks, and deployment pipelines.
