About the Role
Honeywell is standardizing how we sell and deliver B2B software products to customers. As part of this transformation, we're seeking a Senior IT Engineer to own and optimize our end-to-end software license provisioning and renewals process. You'll drive standardization across multiple internally-engineered software products, eliminate manual workarounds, and establish best practices using Flexera as our enterprise license management platform.
This is a high-visibility role that directly impacts customer experience, revenue recognition, and operational efficiency across our software business.
What You'll Own
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
End-to-End License Lifecycle Management: Own the complete customer license provisioning and renewal process for Honeywell's B2B software portfolio, from initial sale through renewal cycle
• Process Standardization: Drive the consolidation of disparate, manual license management processes into a unified, scalable framework that works across all software products
• Flexera Platform Excellence: Serve as the primary IT driver for Flexera implementation and optimization, partnering with the Flexera service owner team to establish and enforce best practices
Systems Integration: Working as the Service Owner team, design and implement integrations between Flexera, SAP ECC, SAP S4, and other enterprise systems to automate license tracking, provisioning, and financial processes
• Renewals Management: Track renewal dates, manage vendor and customer touchpoints, and ensure seamless license renewals with minimal friction
Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps in current processes, propose solutions, and implement improvements that reduce manual work and improve accuracy
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
5+ years of IT experience with focus on software license management, SAM tools, or related enterprise systems
Hands-on Flexera experience is mandatory - you should be able to hit the ground running with platform configuration, workflows, and best practices
Proven experience with SAP systems (ECC and/or S4) integration and data flows
Track record of driving process standardization in complex, multi-product environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently, manage stakeholders, and drive initiatives without direct reports
Excellent communication skills for technical and business audiences
Preferred:
• Experience in B2B software licensing models and subscription management
• Background in business transformation or process improvement initiatives
• Knowledge of license compliance, software asset management (SAM), or IT vendor management
• Familiarity with enterprise software sales cycles and revenue recognition
What Success Looks Like
• Within 6 months: Documented current-state processes, identified standardization opportunities, and delivered quick wins for automation
• Within 12 months: Implemented standardized provisioning processes across at least 50% of software products with Flexera as the system of record
• Ongoing: Reduced manual provisioning time, improved license utilization visibility, and enabled accurate renewals forecasting
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in software license management, IT systems, or enterprise applications
