Your role at Simtra BioPharma Solutions:

Simtra Bio Pharma Solutions is looking for an enthusiastic technologist to join an exciting opportunity for a ground up implementation of integration platform connecting many Sales, Financial, Planning, Quality & Factory applications and integrating with suppliers/customers in a green field, fast paced, pharma manufacturing company.  The Senior Integration Engineer will report into a Principal Architect and will be responsible for Middleware Infrastructure, application and 3rd party integrations.


What you’ll do:

  • Design, document & develop application integration and 3rd party integrations.
  • Maintain the Middleware infrastructure which includes logging, monitoring and auto deployment to higher environments.
  • Collaborating with IT and business partners to understand the application footprint, business flows and integration points across the applications.
  • Create functional and technical documentation.
  • Identify and resolve production issues within the SLAs
  • Work with onshore and offshore contracting teams to lead and review
  • Implement and maintain a CI/CD framework for all integrations.
  • Review, monitor project teams adherence to coding standards & implementation framework.
  • Mentor junior engineers.


What you’ll bring:

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5-7 years of experience with technical implementations of enterprise application integrations using middleware technologies like Boomi, Mulesoft, Workato etc.
  • 2-3 years of experience in developing complex integration in Boomi as well as strong understanding of on-prem Boomi Molecule/atom architecture.
  • Boomi Professional Developer Certification strongly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Enjoys and excels in a fast-paced environment with some level of ambiguity on requirements.
  • Experience in managing onsite and offshore consultants for timely and quality delivery.
  • Hands-on experience in EDI based integrations.
  • Experience in development using Java, Groovy, Python
  • Proven expertise in designing and developing integration using variety of patterns using API, event based, file based.
  • Strong experience in developing integrations using SOAP/REST-based services, XML,JSON, OData, JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience of services in Azure.
  • Knowledge of queuing systems like Kafka, Solace and other JMS queues.
  • Strong preference for candidates to be local to Parsippany, NJ.
