About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Infrastructure Cloud Engineer (Solution Architect) to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of robust and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and proven experience in managing and mentoring teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions with a primary focus on AWS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Lead efforts in application modernization, including migrating legacy systems to the cloud and implementing microservices architectures.
- Lead infrastructure automation initiatives using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Implement best practices for CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and security in the cloud.
- Mentor team members on cloud architecture and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct periodic performance analysis and fine-tune systems for cost-efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirement:
- 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, or related roles, with at least
- 4+ years of hands-on AWS experience.
- 2+ years in programming with Java, Python, or Node.js.
- 1+ years of proven experience managing and mentoring teams or projects.
- Strong expertise in AWS services, architecture, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Strong understanding of system monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
- Solid knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows and containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Istio.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and security best practices.
- A proactive work attitude with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Haves:
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional).
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies.
- Experience with GitLab CI and Ansible.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and NoSQL systems and query optimization.
