About the role:  

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR professional with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition to join our team in Guadalajara, Mexico. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for North and Central America, ensuring successful attraction, selection, onboarding, and recruiting operations of top talent. This role will also act as an HR Business Partner for the employee’s first year and be actively involved in various HR programs and strategies. 

Recruitment: 

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent across North and Central America. 
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and hiring. 
  • Collaborate with hiring managers across different regions to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on hiring best practices. 
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals. 
  • Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managers. 
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. 
  • Prepare and extend job offers and coordinate the pre-employment screening process. 

Recruiting Coordination: 

  • Serve as the SME for recruitment systems, processes, and coordination. 
  • Ensure efficient and effective use of recruitment tools and technologies. 
  • Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the talent acquisition process. 
  • Develop and implement best practices for recruitment operations, including process improvements and system enhancements. 

Talent Management: 

  • Lead onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires, focusing on quality of hire and first-year employee success. 
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve new hire integration, engagement, and retention. 
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to align talent acquisition with broader talent management initiatives.
  • Support performance management processes, including performance reviews and development plans.
  • Conduct talent mapping to identify high-potential candidates and create a pipeline for future roles.
  • Analyze market trends and compensation data to ensure competitive salary offerings and benefits packages.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on market/compensation trends to inform talent acquisition strategies.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR programs and processes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records. 

Qualifications: 

  • Typically, 5+ years of experience in HR with a focus on talent acquisition and recruiting operations. 
  • Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruitment processes and best practices, especially in North and Central America. 
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS’s. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Spanish. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. 
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in North and Central America. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. 
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. 
  • Expertise in market/compensation analysis and talent mapping.
  • Data-driven with strong analytical skills and the ability to use metrics and KPIs to drive decision-making.
