Honeywell is looking for a driven Business / Ops Support Analyst in our Digital HR Solutions department. This role will partner with IT and Business to develop HR service delivery solutions. Our products and services are designed to support our Honeywell employee population. This role needs to find the right balance between compliance, innovation, efficiency, technology and compassion.
As a Business / Ops Support Analyst, you will manage new programs and products designed to deliver HR services, improve the employee experience and address gaps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Good understanding on Payroll systems and integrations to and from these systems to Oracle HCM and Time & Attendance or Absence systems
- Understanding of Payroll systems like ADP, EY etc., processing task such as wage calculation, disbursement control and vendor integrations
- Knowledge of Oracle HCM Payroll configurations and OIC integration to Payroll systems.
- Ensuring that payroll issues are addressed within the planned Service level agreement.
- Work with business stakeholders to translate project goals into project requirements, and then with technical teams to translate the project requirements into technical requirements.
- Oversee project implementation efforts; define and establish goals, supporting metrics, and success indicators.
- Review, evaluate, and incorporate the voice of the customer feedback into project development.
- Partner with other service providers to facilitate the systems roadmap.
- Lead the testing efforts with customers and regional business analysts in support of all sprint releases.
- Ability to create training materials and conduct training for Self Service portal
- Drive digital system improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of payroll operations
Basic Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree, or IT, engineering, related technical discipline
- 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or as a Technical analyst on Self-Service Portals, preferably supporting HR related systems.
- Should hold a good understanding on configurations on SaaS products – Oracle HCM, SAP and ADP Payroll system.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills; high-quality document and report preparation.
- Ability to collaborate across different teams, manage conflict in a positive, flexible way, and reach consensus in a highly differentiated group.
- Detail orientation with the ability to analyze, problem solve, organize and manage multiple priorities and excellent follow up skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to diagnose problems, identify root causes, develop and drive appropriate solutions.
- Ability to translate customer pain points and leadership goals into project requirements.
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence others while working in a cross-functional environment, preferably with senior members of the business.
- Ability to independently analyze data from multiple sources, reconcile conflicting information, and present conclusions in a narrative format.
- Ability to travel as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience applying Lean and/or Six Sigma techniques in a transactional work environment.
- Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical and strategic thinking, and self-initiative.
- Experience with HRIS systems, such as HCM/ERP suites, time and attendance systems, payroll systems, etc.
- Experience working in an organization with a global span.
