As a Senior HR Manager here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our workforce strategy and ensuring that our human resources practices align with our business objectives.
In this role, you will support multiple Vice Presidents within the Chief Technology Office (CTO) and have responsibility for driving Engineering and Program Management functional excellence across Honeywell Aerospace.
You will report directly to the HR Vice President of CTO & IT, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the organization by driving talent management initiatives, enhancing employee engagement, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. You will think outside the box to identify and implement sustainable solutions to attract, develop and retain our talent.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Partner with business leaders within the Chief Technology Office (CTO) organization and across Honeywell Aerospace to understand their needs and provide strategic HR guidance and support.
- Develop and execute people strategies and engagement that foster organizational and employee effectiveness.
- Partner with CTO and Business Leaders to develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned with enhancing our Engineering and Program Management functional excellence across the organization.
- Assess both short and long-term talent needs and skills to achieve business goals.
- Develop and implement HR processes, and programs that align with business objectives and drive employee engagement.
- Interpret key people metrics and trends to identify potential risk areas and recommend effective solutions.
- Lead, influence and collaborate with HR peers across the organization to achieve identified people objectives.
- Demonstrate curiosity and hands-on adoption of AI tools and resources to enhance HR effectiveness, to streamline people processes, and improve data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Handle complex employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in HR management or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in change management, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and employee development.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
