As a Senior Human Resources Generalist here at Honeywell, you will develop, implement, and own HR and talent strategies that align with our corporate objectives. You will partner with and influence leaders to lead transformational initiatives in talent acquisition, talent management, employee experience, and organization development/effectiveness.

You will report directly to our HR Director, for the North Central Region, and you’ll work out of our Lincolnshire, IL manufacturing location on a Hybrid work schedule, with additional opportunities to work out of the Des Plaines, IL and Rosemont, IL locations.
In this role, you will impact the organization by shaping the future of its workforce and fostering a culture of excellence and inclusivity. Your strategic leadership role will ensure that Honeywell attracts and retains top talent, develops its employees, and enhances their engagement and well-being.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive HR excellence across the direct and matrixed HR team, ensuring delivery of high-quality services and support to the organization.
  • Develop and deploy talent strategies, bringing a holistic talent view to implement solutions in talent acquisition, succession planning, and learning and development
  • While assigned to client groups to execute against the latter key responsibilities, you will also spend ~20% of your time working on transformation initiatives and special projects aimed at yielding best practices, operating efficiencies, and productivity.

The annual base salary for this position is $87,200.00 - $131,00.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.”

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 2+ years of experience in HR as a business partner or in a corporate-level role.
  • HR functional excellence with experience as a generalist and specialist.
  • Proven track record of driving HR initiatives and delivering results as a senior HR leader within a global matrixed organization.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and current trends.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to empower and motivate teams.
