Hexcel is currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist for our Salt Lake City, UT location.
Join a dynamic, fast-paced R&D environment where you’ll be helping shape a safe, high-performing, and people-centered culture. As the Senior HR Generalist, you will have a hands-on, highly visible role supporting employees and front-line leaders across the Salt Lake City R&D Centre.
What You’ll Do:
- Champion employee relations by coaching leaders, building trust, and supporting a safety-first culture.
- Lead hiring and onboarding, collaborating with managers to attract and welcome diverse talent.
- Strengthen performance and development by guiding goal setting, training delivery, and engagement initiatives.
- Support compensation, benefits, and HRIS processes, including job offers and people metrics reporting.
- Ensure compliance with federal and Utah HR laws while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Partner strategically across the site, supporting cross-functional initiatives and anticipating people impacts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field (equivalent experience considered).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR generalist, or similar/related, experience. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in recruiting for skilled manufacturing roles and coaching front-line leaders.
- Working knowledge of HR laws/regulations and practical application in a plant environment.
- Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft 365; strong Excel/analytics and report-writing skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal influence, discretion, and urgency in a high-volume setting
- Professional certification (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR) desired.
