Sr Full Stack Engineer

SKIMS is a solutions-oriented brand creating the future of underwear, shapewear and loungewear. We’re disrupting the industry with our game-changing product and culturally driven creative and are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join us in building the next generation of intimates. 

As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining SKIMS front end codebase, built on Shopify Hydrogen. You will also be directly responsible for contributing to site optimizations, documentation, estimations, writing automated unit tests and debugging. Additionally, you will be expected to contribute towards building a team culture and collaborate across tech and product teams.

· Maintain and optimize SKIMS headless website built on Shopify’s proprietary headless framework, Hydrogen/Remix.

· Integrate custom Shopify API solutions, third-party services, and plugins to extend the functionality ensuring seamless and efficient data flow between systems

· Collaborate with Product and fellow developers to translate business requirements into front-end development tasks

· Monitor and improve website performance, handle debugging and issue resolution, and ensure the scalability and security of SKIMS headless Shopify application

· Write efficient, elegant, and maintainable code, meeting all front-end requirements

· Test, deploy, and monitor platform features to ensure seamless integration between front-end components

· Develop technical documentation to guide future development projects

· A minimum of 5 years of experience in the eCommerce industry, with a focus on headless Shopify Plus storefronts

· Experience building headless applications using Hydrogen/Remix, NextJs or Gatsby

· Demonstrated full stack proficiency using React and Typescript

· Proficient in front-end design systems using modern CSS-in-JS frameworks such as Styled Components, Material UI, Tailwind

· Cloud experience, with a preference for experience in Vercel, Netlify, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Cloudflare, AWS

· Strong experience with headless CMS platforms such as Sanity, Contentful, Strapi, Contentstack or dotCMS

· Experience managing tracking solutions using Google Tag Manager, Elevar, Quantum Metrics ensuring a seamless integration of all tracking pixels

· Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness

· Strong attention to detail, resourceful mindset, and ability to work across the entire technology stack
