What you will do
- Architect and develop high-quality applications using React for web and React Native for mobile platforms
- Lead the design and implementation of reusable component libraries and design systems
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver comprehensive solutions
- Establish best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization strategies
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to strengthen the team's technical capabilities
- Mentor junior developers and facilitate knowledge sharing within the engineering organization
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness across various devices
- Implement automated testing frameworks and strategies to ensure quality and reliability
- Troubleshoot complex issues across different browsers, devices, and operating systems
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our tech stack
- Contribute to technical documentation for systems, components, and features
- Work with Product and UX/UI designers to transform design concepts into functional, responsive interfaces
- Identify and address technical debt and architectural limitations
- Participate in the full product development lifecycle from concept to deployment
What you need to be successful
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with React and React Native
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/Sass/Less
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, Context API)
- Proficiency in implementing responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL integration
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web and mobile applications
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
- Experience with version control systems (primarily Git)
- Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and implementation practices
- Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
