General Description
Equiscript is seeking a Sr Financial Analyst that will own the FP&A activities of the organization. Reporting to the CFO, this role will assist management with strategic decision making through accurate and timely reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and long-range business planning. The right candidate will be inquisitive, will problem solve and partner with our Accounting and Finance team and all other department leaders and personnel. This candidate must be very comfortable with often complex financial modeling and forecasting and will have a passion for absorbing large amounts of data from multiple sources, performing root cause analysis and experience with presenting results in a thoughtful and meaningful way.
Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain monthly/quarterly/yearly financial reporting package.

Create and maintain budgets and forecasts periodically including Income Statements, Balance Sheet and Cash flow Statement through strategic partnership with finance team and all department heads.

Partner with controller in maintaining Cash Flow Forecast in comparison with Budget/ Forecasts

Report on financial performance with variance analysis and key driver effects on Revenue, Expenses, Investment Activities, Financing activities, Capital Expenditures

Create invoices for specific pharmacy chains and work with internal/external stakeholders to troubleshoot.

Assess market, industry and customer / product changes and determine how such changes affect our forecast.

Produce presentation materials as required to inform leadership of the status of the business.

Report on Key Performance Indicators and evaluate trends to identify challenges and opportunities quickly and accurately.

Track activity from sales pipeline to bookings to implementation to realized revenue so as to inform leadership of detailed results against expectations.

Ensure that long-range business plan targets and milestones are on track.

Ad-hoc analysis as needed by leadership / management.

Preferred Experience
-
5+ years of experience in a FP&A role or related position.

Bachelor degree in Finance or related field.

Experience and proficient PC skills (Microsoft, Outlook, Sharepoint, Excel a must, web-based programs

Comfort using accounting systems (Netsuite in particular) and related CRP (ie: salesforce) and ERP systems

Knowledge in writing SQL queries a plus, but in particular a comfort level in working with internal resources to obtain the information needed to do the work.

Pharmacy / Specialty Pharmacy experience a plus

340B program knowledge from health center, pharmacy, administrator or consulting a major plus
