Location: Portsmouth, NH Hybrid

The Sr. Financial analyst leverages strong accounting and compliance background to explore historical financial data, predict future results and drive process and policy improvements. This person maintains day-to-day responsibility for the financial analysis that enables the business to make sound financial and operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the development of annual budgeting and monthly forecasting.
  • Independently analyze, interpret and challenge the businesses' financial performance and partner with the business to advise them on financial performance, with some guidance of Site Controller.
  • Monitoring and reporting of standard cost variances and assures standard costs are updated in accordance with FAM (Financial Accounting Manual) and MAM (Management Accounting Manual).
  • Supports Lonza Biologics, Inc’s monthly internal financial report and analysis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or closely related field.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of accounting/finance/business service experience in a multi-national environment preferable in the Life Science Industry.
