As a Sr Financial Analyst, FP&A - Capital Finance, you will:
Partner closely with the Remodels business team to drive financial outcomes that support the long-term health and evolution of Target’s store fleet
Deliver actionable financial insights and recommendations to inform strategic remodel investments with the goal to improve returns and optimize costs through collaboration with cross-functional partners in Properties, Real Estate, Store Operations, Construction, Accounting, and Capital Finance
Assist in Capital Forum preparation for Remodel investments
Own financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for Target’s annual Remodels capital program, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and alignment with enterprise capital goals
Support program-level forecasting and project-level analysis to monitor in-year performance and assess return on investment
Build, maintain, and improve financial models and reporting tools to enable effective decision-making and visibility across varying levels of leadership including annual refresh of the Remodel valuation model
Identify and drive opportunities to streamline processes, enhance automation, and improve efficiency across Remodels financial operations
Contribute to broader Store Valuation initiatives, including financial assessments of reinvestment strategies and capital prioritization

About you:
B.A/B.S degree in accounting or finance
Relevant Finance experience (including FP&A experience) and financial valuation experience a plus
Strong analytical, decision-making, project management and organizational skills

Experienced in collaborating across departments/business units and driving results through collaboration

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location (Tues, Wed, & Thurs) the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
