BFS – Commercial Sr Finance Manager
As a Senior Manager Finance at GBS BFS, you will be instrumental in managing Regional P&L(~$100M+) for business in Honeywell. Your responsibilities will encompass leading the analysis and operational oversight, financial reviews to support strategic decision-making and enhance business performance. Core duties include leading the P&L by regular financial performance monitoring, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Additionally, the role involves operational reviews like Deals review & Support to GM
Key Responsibilities
- Periodic Financial Analysis and Metrics Management: Drive performance to meet targets for pricing, orders, revenue, Variable Contribution Margin (VCM), fixed costs, free cash flow (FCF), and conversion. Identify opportunities for improvement in these areas.
- Collaboration with Regional & Functional Leaders: Work closely with leaders to lead Pulse, SRO (Short Range Outlook), AOP (Annual Operating Plan), and related forecasting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial projections.
- Lead monthly sessions with both operations and finance leadership to review R&O (risks and opportunities), financial performance, address variances, and align action plans.
- Manage BAP activities like Pulse, MBRs
Education and Certifications
- Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant/master’s degree in finance, or Business Administration
Required Experience 12+ years of overall finance experience.
Critical
- Strategic Partner with Leadership and Functional leaders to manage financial targets for the function.
- Prior exposure of driving business finance metrics
- Exposure to Tools like Power BI, Advance excel etc.
- Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Essbase, and Hyperion
- The ability to quickly identify subtle patterns among issues and to make consistent, timely decisions.
- Strong cross functional and peer influencing skills.
Skills Required
- Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, or Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration
- 12+ years of overall finance experience
- Experience as a strategic finance partner to leadership and functional teams
- Prior exposure to driving business finance metrics (pricing, VCM, FCF, conversion)
- Experience with Power BI and advanced Excel
