Our Gaming Product development team is responsible for designing cabinets and games for our global land-based casino business, and for Gaming product quality. The Senior Finance Manager – Gaming Product Development will support the EVP – Gaming Product and his team of 1 SVP, 2 VPs, several Directors, and ten Gaming content studio leaders in decision support, financial planning and analysis, and optimizing the Gaming segment D&D portfolio spend.  The role will report into the Senior Finance Director, Product Development, and have a Financial Analyst (US), a Game Title Analyst (India), and a Financial Manager – Regulatory testing (India) as direct reports. 

What You'll Do

  • Leads the FP&A team that supports the Gaming Product spend.  Financial Manager – Regulatory testing (India), Financial Analyst – Engineering (US), and Game Title Analyst (India) to ensure spend is managed, understood, and reported across all reporting cycles.  Ensure current year financial commitments by continuing to drive the budgeting and planning process to be a key driver based, balancing the continuous flow of risks and opportunities.  Monitor spending by strategic investments, named functions, and by key leaders.  Foster the need for continuous improvement.   Supports and drives personal and professional development of the team. Provides direction and guidance to ensure excellence in execution and strong business partnerships across the organization.
  • Supported by the team, prepares the Gaming D&D global annual budget, reforecasts during the year, and monitors spend vs expectations, with analysis across multiple business units and currencies. Maintain a multi-year financial forecast that interlocks the commercial priorities to a 5-year product development roadmap. 
  • Calculates performance-based pay for studios is accurately calculated and clearly explained.  Ensure return on Enterprise studio investment in people, resources, and regulatory testing is well understood through “Bang for the Buck” reporting.  Collaborate with the Master Data and Product Management teams to centralize Enterprise Game Title revenue, ensuring high data integrity. 
  • Facilitates and supports the analysis for D&D investments within business cases to support investment choices in line with Aristocrat investment frameworks in collaboration with Gaming commercial finance for the Gaming Investment Committee.
  • Partner with Corporate Accounting on all half-year and full-year audit requirements.
  • Partners with the Finance enterprise reporting center of excellence to enable financial reporting to meet the needs of the D&D function.
  • Together with the extended team, facilitates various projects, including the design of processes where allocation of existing spend is attributed to specific programs of work.  Annually gain an understanding of where time is spent through collaboration with D&D leaders.  Develop a taxonomy and develop simple allocations of cost.  Calculates standard game costs for original games, ports, and transfer approvals for each studio.
  • Undertake additional ad hoc projects as required.

What We're Looking For

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is required. MBA or CPA preferred but not required.
  • 5+ years of finance or accounting experience. Gaming or key creative industry knowledge is welcome.
  • Understanding of Finance systems.
  • Excellent business acumen, with the ability to lead discussions with executives to obtain key decisions.
  • Energized by building, maintaining, and managing multiple stakeholder relationships across global locations. Strong change management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail/ deadline oriented with effective organizational and analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Effective problem solving, process improvement, and analytical skills.
  • Critical thinker willing to challenge the status quo
  • Collaborative people leader with the ability to delegate effectively
  • Competency in Microsoft application,s including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Planner, and Outlook. Power Query, PowerBI skills preferred but not required
  • This position will be based in Las Vegas but needs to be flexible to work with internal and external stakeholders in various global time zones, with some travel required to meet team and stakeholders.

Pay Range

$132,773 - $246,578 per year

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
