- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Migrate legacy DTS packages to SSIS, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support ETL processes.
- Maintain and enhance existing ETL processes to improve performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL processes and data integration.
- Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to understand data requirements and translate them into ETL solutions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the ETL process.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to ETL processes and data flows.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance as needed.
Technical Skills:
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience as an ETL developer, with a focus on SSIS and SQL Server.
- Strong experience with SQL Server database development, including stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning.
- Proven experience migrating DTS packages to SSIS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modelling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
