As the Senior Engineering Manager of the Space and Strategic Sensors Engineering team at Honeywell Aerospace you will play a critical role in leading and overseeing a team of highly skilled engineers in the design, development, and delivery of advanced sensors for Space and Strategic applications. This position is pivotal in shaping the future of our technological advancements and ensuring the successful execution of complex projects. This team provides the core interferometric fiber optic gyro design capability for the COE supporting Space and Strategic Navigation products, along with critical engineering support for the PIGA float assembly and Alt PIGA sensor. This team will also continue working closely with the advanced technologies organization to develop the technology for a resonant fiber optic gyro.
You will report directly to the Sensing, Guidance and Navigation Center of Excellence (COE) Senior Engineering Director, and you’ll work out of the Deer Valley, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the strategic direction of engineering activities, drive innovation, and set clear objectives and expectations for your team, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives. ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide strategic direction for engineering activities, aligning them with the company's goals and objectives.

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in engineering management and systems integration.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, systems integration, and project management.
• Proficiency in engineering tools and technologies relevant to sensing and navigation systems.
