What You’ll Be Doing
Serve as a senior technical contributor within the Software Quality Engineering team.
Review product requirements and engineering specifications to define test strategies, scope testing effort, and identify quality risks.
Create detailed test plans that combine manual validation, automated testing, and risk-based coverage.
Architect, develop, and maintain automation frameworks, scripts, and reusable libraries for web, application programming interface, and mobile applications.
Apply AI-assisted approaches to test creation, script maintenance, test data generation, failure analysis, and quality improvement.
Establish repeatable testing methods that support parallel product development and automation delivery.
Test microservices-based solutions through functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Troubleshoot complex failures by analysing SQL results, application and server logs, test environments, and service behaviour.
Collaborate with developers, system administrators, database administrators, Product Management, and DevOps teams to resolve quality issues.
Maintain requirements traceability, test cases, execution evidence, and defects within test management systems.
Review work completed by less experienced engineers and provide technical guidance, training, and constructive feedback.
Investigate root causes of quality issues and take ownership of corrective actions through resolution.
Contribute to continuous improvement of automation tools, quality processes, development practices, and team standards.
Communicate testing status, risks, findings, and recommendations clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
What We Look For
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 5 years of software quality engineering or software testing experience.
Strong experience designing and maintaining automated tests for web, API, or mobile applications.
Proficiency with JavaScript, SQL, and automation tools such as Selenium, Katalon, Playwright, or comparable technologies.
Practical knowledge of AI-assisted software testing, automation development, or quality analysis.
Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
Experience working directly with software developers to diagnose and resolve complex test failures.
Experience with requirements, test case, and defect management tools; Polarion experience is advantageous.
Familiarity with Agile development, DevOps practices, cloud solutions, and microservices-based architectures.
Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework practices, 21 CFR Part 11, or current Good Practice requirements is advantageous.
Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other engineers is preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Professional fluency in English.
