The mission of the role is to transform the Global Gaming organization by creating and operating python code to automate repetitive processes in accordance with the Reporting Center of Excellence standards and governance.
In this role, you will focus on automating manual, repetitive tasks using Python Automation Code. You will work closely with operations leaders, process owners and process SMEs to define, develop and deploy new automation solutions and refine and optimize existing solutions. We are seeking a highly technical, creative, and self-motivated individual who is a team player.
The role is operational where the key outcomes are to:
• Support the Global Gaming organization to meet strategic automation goals and deliverables.
• Execute the end to end automation structure involving governance, intake with business partners, automation development,
automation testing, sustainability documentation, and continual production running of automation.
What You'll Do
- Develop Full Life Cycle of Automation Solutions from intake, to development, to debugging, to testing, to implementing into production, and to writing documentation all with the Reporting Center of Excellence’s Best Practices and Governance.
- Review all created automated solutions with lead engineer to ensure objective and best practices are met.
- Develop sustainability documentation for each automated process; review other team members sustainability documentation; and contribute to team training and professional development activities.
- Run and maintain 500+ existing automation processes to ensure consistent, up to date, and accurate operating rhythm.
- Complete a couple machine learning initiatives every year, using tools such as Sci-Kit Learn, Numpy, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Lead some reoccurring meetings with business stakeholders to provide functional and technical expertise in areas including identifying automation opportunities, process improvement, high level details of end-to-end automation process, and Automation Governance on how to best set up their processes for automation success in advance.
- Research and develop code to further improve existing automations (i.e. faster run times, better ways, more sustainable).
- Assist Reporting Center of Excellence to drive strategic and tactical roll-out of solution to achieve organizational automation goals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar
- One to three years experience in Python Development
- Advanced skillset in:
- Python
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Preferred experience (not required), any of:
- R
- SQL
- Java, C++, C#, HTML
- Selenium
- PowerBI or any other Dashboarding Tool
- TM1, HFM, Anaplan (or similar corporate reporting cube environment)
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
