Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and lead full stack software solutions. Responsibilities include executing the full software development life cycle (SDLC), writing well-designed, testable code, collaborating with clients and teams to build value-driven delivery teams, and integrating software components into a functional system. The ideal candidate is familiar with SDLC, agile methodologies, test-driven development, and has exposure to DevOps practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code like Terraform), as well as cloud hosting (AWS, Azure, GCP). The role requires building high-quality, innovative software that complies with coding standards and technical designs. The candidate must have strong consulting and/or customer service experience and take a customer-oriented approach to software delivery.

Job Location: Hybrid office/remote - in our office in Minneapolis 2-3 days per week

Responsibilities:

• Execute the full software development life cycle (SDLC)

• Write well-designed, testable code

• Collaborate with clients and company leaders to build value-driven delivery teams

• Integrate software components into a functional system

• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures

• Document and maintain software functionality

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems

• Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback

• Comply with project plans and industry standards

• Document and diagram requirements and solutions

• Mentor less experienced consultants

Skills - Need to have:

• 7+ years of proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Developer

• 3+ years of development experience in TypeScript/Node, JVM, or .NET

• Cloud hosting experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Excellent knowledge of relational databases and SQL

• Ability to document requirements and specifications

Skills - Nice to have:

• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or CloudFormation

• Experience with building out CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with test-driven development

• Front end experience with React, React Hooks, ChakraUI, Typescript

• Back end experience with Node.js, Next.JS, Typescript

• Database experience with PostgreSQL

BSc degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field is preferred.
