Your role:The Senior manufacturing Engineer apply experience, training and acquired engineering techniques to tackle problems encountered in design, redesign or troubleshooting. This role is full focus on sustaining projects, since the beginning to the end. Experience on materials and design changes, validations, as well as line balancing are needed to be successful on this role.

What you'll be doingSupports and/or provides technical and safety guidance or mentoring to colleagues, technicians, designers, drafters, model makers and others. May serve as project leader.
Meet with external customers and suppliers to exchange information and help with more difficult technical problems.
Participate in project planning and may lead portions of large projects to include scheduling, supervising costs, resources, workforce load, etc.
Integration of existing processes (through transfer from other Baxter sites) and development and continuous improvement of mechanical device manufacturing processes.
Design and implementation of production fixtures/tools and inspection equipment as needed.
Capacity (equipment, labor, space) and maintenance planning and strategies, production performance, efficiency, downtime tracking and corrective actions.
Execution of activities related to the transfer of manufacturing to the new manufacturing site.
Cycle time estimation, tracking and development of production routers.
Implement engineering tools such as Problem Solving, Statistics (DOE/ANOVA Etc.), PFMEA Etc.
Development and maintenance of manufacturing process instructions (process sheets, MPS), routers and bill of materials.
Development and completion of process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ/ TMV) while ensuring that changes made to specifications, methods, processes or procedures are verified or, where applicable, validated in accordance with the organization.
What you'll bringProfessional in Engineering or related
Experience in manufacturing and Lean Methodologies, projects implementation and implementing new manufacturing tools. 3 years minimum.
Bilingual Spanish-English.
