Our graduates experience a unique blend of Bid Management and Estimating. One day you might be coordinating a multi-million-dollar bid for a smart hospital, airport or data centre; the next, you could be analysing project costs, developing commercial strategies, engaging suppliers or helping shape the technical solution that wins the project.

You will work alongside experienced Bid Managers, Estimators, Solution Architects, Sales Leaders and Operations teams while building skills that can launch a career in project management, commercial leadership, sales, engineering or business management.

Your work will directly influence how Honeywell competes, wins and delivers projects that make buildings safer, smarter, more sustainable and more connected.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Help coordinate and manage complex bids from opportunity qualification through to customer submission and contract award.
  • Develop detailed cost estimates, pricing models and commercial analyses for building automation projects.
  • Analyse drawings, specifications, vendor quotations and subcontractor proposals to identify project risks, opportunities and cost drivers.
  • Support proposal development, customer presentations and executive approval reviews.
  • Engage with suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to build competitive project strategies.
  • Participate in project risk reviews, commercial reviews and leadership approval processes.
Qualifications

About You

  • Recently completed or completing a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Systems, Chemical or related Engineering discipline, including a double degree with finance or commerce
  • Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving capability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Curiosity about how technical solutions become successful commercial outcomes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A growth mindset and passion for continuous learning.
