Position Summary
Our client's Space & Defense, Power & Data team supports the U.S. military and is seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to help design and develop electronic hardware solutions for mission-critical aerospace and defense applications.
Responsibilities
- Design hardware schematics, PCB layouts, and bills of materials (BOMs)
- Conduct hardware integration, verification, troubleshooting, and testing
- Support technical project planning, including proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and design reviews
- Ensure traceability between customer requirements and system requirements
- Develop engineering test requirements and unit, subsystem, and system level test plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the product development lifecycle
- Contribute to the development of new technologies, products, and processes that meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of experience developing electronic hardware products and systems
- Experience designing electronic hardware products and bringing designs from concept through testing and implementation
- Familiarity with one or more areas including circuit design, PCB development, embedded hardware, system integration, or hardware verification
