Responsible for ensuring product compliance with company standards, driving continuous product improvement, supporting new product introductions, and monitoring customer service objectives. This position may or may not have direct reports. Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Bill of Materials (BOM).
As required, works on the implementation of software design changes or printed circuit board (PCB) modifications for company products.
JOB DUTIES:
- Implements software changes and enhancements for company products.
- Implements design changes to printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic components used in company products.
- Maintains the integrity and accuracy of the product Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Responds to customer issues by providing technical analysis and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Addresses manufacturing issues related to product design and engineering concerns.
- Coordinates the qualification and approval of new components and alternate suppliers for production materials.
- Coordinates the preparation of product samples required for regulatory agency approvals and certifications of new products.
- Provides Design for Manufacturing (DFM) feedback to the product design engineering team during new product development.
- Serves as the liaison between Design Engineering and Operations throughout the new product introduction (NPI) process.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 3–5 years of experience in Electronic Engineering, preferably in Product Design and Development.
- Microsoft Office
- English proficiency, with strong verbal, written, and reading communication skills in both languages.
- Working knowledge of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design software such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or equivalent tools. Hands-on experience with PCB design and layout is strongly preferred.

- Proficiency in the use of electronic test and measurement equipment, including Digital Multimeters (DMMs), oscilloscopes, power supplies, calipers, and other electrical and mechanical measurement instruments.
