As a Sr Electrical and Instrumentation Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in leading the process control and instrumentation function. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical control systems and instrumentation. Your strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be essential in delivering successful outcomes for Honeywell's projects and operations.
You will report directly to our Director of Chemical Engineering, and you'll work out of our Tulsa, OK location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our projects and operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of process control systems, optimizing process performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support in the design, implementation, and maintenance of process control systems and instrumentation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the electrical, control and instrumentation function
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical, control systems and instrumentation.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to ensure the effective and efficient operation of E&IC group.
- Optimize process performance and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality design solutions that meet user needs and business objectives.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team in solving complex engineering problems
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in design problems
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in Electrical, control and instrumentation or related roles
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
