The Senior Director of Strategy for Forge & AI plays a pivotal enterprise role in shaping Honeywell’s multi‑year platform and AI strategy. This leader is responsible for defining strategic direction, guiding investment and portfolio decisions, and driving cross‑functional transformation to accelerate AI adoption, scale platforms, and unlock competitive advantage across the company.
As a senior strategy executive, you will influence Honeywell’s most critical decisions by combining deep AI/technology fluency, strong business and financial acumen, customer and market insight, and the ability to influence C‑suite, and Board‑level stakeholders.
You will report to the VP, Forge & AI, and will be based in Atlanta, GA.
ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Vision:
- Own and evolve the multi‑year AI & Forge strategic plan, including growth strategy, value creation priorities, and platform innovation roadmap.
- Connect customer, market, and technology trends to strategic choices and investment roadmaps.
- Build business cases, ROI scenarios, and capital allocation models to drive enterprise prioritization.
- Present strategic recommendations to the SVP CTO, HON Leadership Team and other senior stakeholders.
Enterprise AI & Transformation
- Shape Honeywell’s enterprise/Forge AI strategy in partnership with Technology, Data, Business Units, HR, Legal, and Finance.
- Sponsor major AI transformation initiatives improving productivity, profitability, time‑to‑value, and customer outcomes.
Customer, Market & Competitive Insight
- Lead market scanning, customer listening, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic planning.
- Analyze GTM models, and monetization strategies for AI offerings.
- Translate customer needs and industry signals into differentiated platform, product, and ecosystem strategies.
Executive Influence & Stakeholder Alignment
- Serve as the primary strategic advisor to senior executives on Forge & AI priorities.
- Monthly communication and thought leadership for government relations, investor relations, senior leadership, and external Comms around Forge & AI to streamline messaging and value propositions.
- Establish and run recurring strategy and portfolio review mechanisms.
Portfolio Governance & Financial Outcomes
- Support investment prioritization, resource allocation, and cost‑to‑serve trade‑offs.
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and performance measures to track impact and value realization.
Operational Excellence & Delivery
- Partner with execution leaders to translate strategy into operating models, processes, and measurable outcomes.
Leadership & Talent Development
- Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing strategy team and matrixed working groups.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer‑centric strategy.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 8+ years in corporate strategy, management consulting, AI/ML strategy, or digital transformation.
- Demonstrated success influencing C‑suite and ELT leaders.
- Proven experience developing business cases and strategies with measurable financial impact.
- Deep understanding of AI technologies, applications, and enterprise adoption patterns.
