Reporting to the VP/GM of Specialty Products & Programs “SP&P”, the Sr. Director Provider Engagement, is a Lead Specialist role who is responsible for executing against SP&P performance objectives. The role is a subject matter expert who works collaboratively with both US Oncology & Onmark members to implement processes and procedures that ensure the delivery of high-quality comprehensive SP&P engagements. Additionally, this role must work collaboratively with US Oncology Leadership, Pharmacy Solutions, Analytics, GPO Team, Medically Integrated Dispensing (MID), Sales Team and Value Based Care teams to ensure full potential within a complex healthcare environment. This role is responsible for executing against SP&P performance objectives for a set group of highly engaged strategic members
Key Responsibilities
- Execute SP&P performance objectives for a set group of highly engaged strategic oncology customers (US Oncology, Strategic, State Societies and others as assigned)
- Work directly with the largest strategic customers to build strategic plans that align with practice goals and the economic success of SP&P contracts. Managing more than half of the practice relationships
- Build, lead and drive multiple strategic initiatives while delivering results for customers
- Identify success factors and strategies to enhance performance on the SP&P product portfolio
- Interpret, build, and deliver economic comparisons for understanding the generics landscape
- Execute quarterly coordinated business reviews, working with multiple groups to ensure success
- Transition new customers into McKesson
- Build content for and deliver monthly customer calls and meetings
- Lead complex projects to improve value, innovate offerings, streamline efficiencies, and improve member experience
- Collaborate with Pharmacy Solutions Teams, MID, and other internal stakeholders to drive contract performance and provider engagement with the SP&P business.
- Partner with Business Development Directors to provide contract insights to manufacturer partners
- Provide key performance indicator information and other metrics demonstrating customer performance
- Develop and coach new and tenured sales teams on SP&P market landscape and dynamics
- Occasionally represent customers point of view and provide market insights in manufacturer meetings
- Present to US Oncology Leadership on SP&P strategies, market dynamics, and economic results
Minimum Requirement
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience. Less years required if has relevant Master’s or Doctorate qualifications.
Education
Bachelor's degree required; masters preferred
Critical Skills
- 10+ years of relevant healthcare experience.
- 5+ years of sales, consulting, or provider engagement experience required.
- 5+ years of experience in leadership, business analysis, and strategy development in management consulting, technology, or consumer-packaged goods environment
- Previous Group Purchasing Organization and/or Specialty Generics experience
- Oncology experience highly preferred
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- Strong service selling, service delivery, and client relationship skills

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $128,500 - $214,100
