Core Digital Media (“CDM”) is on a mission to help people make smarter financial decisions for every stage of life. We are looking for a rockstar Sr. Director of Product Management for our portfolio of FinTech products and destinations including Quicken Loans. Reporting to the SVP of Product, you’ll help define our product vision, strategy, and roadmap, while leading and mentoring a team of Product Managers to deliver impactful outcomes through intuitive, innovative, and engaging products for consumers. The ideal candidate is passionate about bringing AI/ML-powered digital products to life to solve complex customer problems and create the best possible experiences for consumers. You’ll be responsible for the strategic and tactical management of your team, overseeing the successful launch of new products and enhancements that support the commercial goals of the business. You'll provide direction and guidance for your team’s overall growth and output, as well as be a trusted partner to our Product Design, UX Research, Engineering, Data Science, and Marketing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, mentor, grow, and inspire a high-performing Product team to drive product strategy, roadmap, and execution
  • Collaborate with Product Design, UX Research, Engineering, Data Science, and Marketing teams to launch products that achieve product/market fit and ensure successful outcomes for consumers and the business
  • Drive product innovation including the vision and strategy for AI and ML implementation to improve the utility and user experience of our product portfolio and ecosystem
  • Be data-inspired and outcome-driven, establishing and achieving desired success metrics and OKRs for adoption, quality, sentiment, engagement, and monetization
  • Manage product lifecycle from concept to market, including discovery and research, requirements definition, design, development, launch, and go-to-market
  • Engage consumers and stakeholders directly to gather insights and feedback, ensuring our products meet market needs and exceed expectations
  • Participate with your Product Management team in cross-functional agile meetings to ensure successful development and launch

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience overall with 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Management leader, responsible for Product Strategy, Roadmap, Development, and Launch of digital products for large consumer brands
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of the financial services landscape and regulatory environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, develop, mentor, grow, and inspire high-performing Product teams
  • Experience bringing AI/ML-powered digital products to life to solve complex customer problems and create the best possible experiences for consumers
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for the FinTech space
  • Strong communication, storytelling, presentation, and interpersonal skills with proven ability to clearly articulate ideas, vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Exceptional collaboration skills, with demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Design, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing and other cross-functional teams and leaders
  • Experience working with agile development methodologies

Nice-to-Have

  • MBA or advanced degree in Data Science, AI, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in the consumer FinTech space
  • Experience working with near-shore and/or off-shore development teams
  • Entrepreneurial or Intrapreneurial experience leading teams through self-disruption, reimagination, transformation, growth and/or scaling phases
