About the role

Develop market strategy and vision for Life Insurance Solutions and execute thought leadership activities that drive our position in the market. Preference for this candidate to be local to Alpharetta, GA.

This team consists of experienced professionals who possess strong matrix leadership, communication, project management expertise and organizational skills.

Their primary role is to lead market strategies and set business direction for the organization by leveraging market expertise, innovating differentiated solutions or market problems and delivering compelling value for our company and customers.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute market development for the entire Life Insights platform:

  • Champion strategic partnerships and develop influencer initiatives focused on market development within the Life Insurance ecosystem.

  • Serve as the main relationship manager for Reinsurer relationships, defining and executing strategies to grow reinsurer relationships that advance our market presence as an innovator and thought leader. 

  • Partner with the Global Alliance team to prioritize and grow third party relationships that will advance the adoption and integration of our solutions.

  • Act as the ambassador to cultivate a strong network and presence among the medical data suppliers.

  • Collaborate with functions such as Marketing, Sales Enablement or Client Engagement to ensure wide adoption of market messages related to reinsurers and partnerships.

  • Monitor life ecosystem for developments and trends, with a focus on regulatory climate, and emerging technology & partnerships

  • Contribute to mergers/acquisitions due diligence.

  • Lead and support internal operating activities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.  

  • 10+ years of collaborative leadership experience in the Life insurance industry or with a   related insurance solutions company.

  • Experience with or at a Reinsurer organization

  • Proven leadership in a business or partnership development role.

  • Experience with or deep understanding of UW practices, risk assessment and/or medical data sourcing preferred

  • Experience with or knowledge of insurance technology solutions and how they function in the insurance value chain.

  • Experience defining partnership terms, negotiating contracts and developing commercial terms preferred.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to bring something from ideation to successful completion

  • Business analysis skills/experience; ability to draw insights from a variety of sources and to process complex information into a cohesive strategy and action plan.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications; ability to work with and influence at all levels.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $156,700 - $290,900. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
