About the role
Passionate about Planning and Reporting? We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and personable Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis who can oversee strategic and annual operating plans for the US growing digital communications business. Based in our modern Irvine office, you will support the backbone of planning and reporting.
What you’ll be doing
As part of the Finance team, you’ll lead strategic financial planning and reporting initiatives, ensuring accurate analysis, compliance, and informed decision-making for organizational growth. It’s a role with a lot of variety, and day-to-day, you’ll mainly be involved with:
- Responsible for Boldyn US budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes and deliverables.
- Develop financial presentations for Sr. Management as well as internal to Finance.
- Support the Strategic planning process, performing ROI and payback assessments on strategic initiatives.
- Provide leadership with broad responsibilities including planning for indirect expenses including cross functional departments.
- Development and maintenance of financial models supporting expense and Cash Flow forecasting, as well as the consolidation of department and project forecasts.
- Partner with IT to optimize financial / reporting systems, inclusive of automation of weekly / monthly reporting.
- Assess process improvement opportunities that enhance the efficiency of the financial planning cycle while also increasing the informative value of the content provided to Sr. Management.
- Partner with Accounting in the monthly review of financial statements as part of close process and understand significant variances to forecast.
- Continually refine and manage the Planning process and subsequent coordination and communication.
- Ensure proper goal alignment for FP&A staff, as well as conduct robust performance and development discussions.

- A big picture view on financial analysis; you are in the moment and 12 months ahead all at the same time.
- Top notch Excel skills with ability to design and maintain complex financial models and to create high quality financial presentations.
- At least 10 years of progressive financial analysis and accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; an MBA is preferred.
- Demonstrated analytical proficiency in data research and interpretation.
- Illustrates a dedication to meeting requirements of internal and external customers, responding to all customer requests promptly and thoroughly.
- Strong communication skills including the ability to work in a team environment, give honest, direct feedback and is a solid verbal and written communicator.
- Self-directed, self-motivated personality. Work with limited direction to prepare and deliver fact-based recommendations to senior management.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree preferably in accounting
- MBA and/or CPA preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a complex, multinational, multi-site environment
- Experience in managing financial planning tools and processes
- Deep understanding of US GAAP and cost accounting practices
- Strong leadership skills with experience in leading a high-performance team
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
