All about the role:
The Senior Director, End‑to‑End Integrated Business Planning (IBP) is a critical leadership role responsible for designing, transforming, and operating best‑in‑class IBP capabilities across the full planning horizon—from strategic to tactical and operational execution. This role oversees demand planning, supply planning, network and distribution planning, production and material planning, and leads the S&OP and S&OE cadence to ensure seamless decision‑making, superior service levels, and optimized financial outcomes.
The role exists to elevate planning from functional excellence to enterprise advantage, enabling data‑driven, AI‑enabled decisions that align commercial strategy, operations, and finance. The Senior Director will partner closely with executive leadership, present clear trade‑offs to the Executive Leadership Team and Board, and ensure flawless execution through standardized processes, disciplined governance, and advanced SAP IBP capabilities.
Where you’ll be:
This position will be based at the Electrolux's HQ office located in Charlotte NC, hybrid work policy model.
What you’ll do:
Own and lead the end‑to‑end Integrated Business Planning framework, spanning strategic planning, S&OP, S&OE, and operational execution ensuring clear accountability, scenario evaluation, and timely decision‑making.
Define and execute a multi‑year IBP transformation roadmap, including process standardization, team capability uplift, and technology enablement.
Provide enterprise leadership across:
Demand Planning and Forecasting
Supply Planning and Capacity Planning
Network and Distribution Planning
Production Planning and Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
Translate business strategy into actionable supply chain plans, balancing growth, service, cost, inventory, resilience, and risk, clearly articulating trade‑offs, risks, and opportunities.
Present planning insights, scenarios, and recommendations to the Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team with clarity and executive presence.
Lead the deployment and optimization of SAP IBP modules, including (but not limited to):
IBP for Demand
IBP for Supply & Response
IBP for Inventory
IBP for S&OP / Control Tower
Ensure tight integration between IBP, financial planning, and performance management to drive one aligned operating plan.
Establish and monitor KPIs and value metrics (service, cost, inventory, forecast accuracy, plan adherence, resilience).
Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing global planning organization, fostering accountability, talent development, and change management leadership.
Drive strong cross‑functional collaboration across Commercial, Product Lines, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, Finance, and IT.
Ensure robust planning governance, data quality, and master data discipline to support scalable and repeatable execution.
Define and lead the AI and advanced analytics strategy for end‑to‑end planning, embedded into core IBP processes rather than standalone initiatives driving adoption of AI‑powered forecasting, sensing, and scenario simulation to improve accuracy, responsiveness, and resilience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, IBP, S&OP, or operations leadership, within complex global organizations.
Demonstrated success leading enterprise‑wide IBP or S&OP transformations, including process redesign and operating model changes.
Strong hands‑on expertise with SAP IBP, including multiple module implementations or large‑scale enhancements.
Experience leveraging AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics in planning, forecasting, or decision‑support applications.
Proven ability to present to and influence Executive Leadership Teams and Boards of Directors.
Track record of delivering measurable business value (service improvement, inventory optimization, cost reduction, resilience, team leadership).
Demonstrated ability to attract, retain, and develop top‑tier planning, analytics, and digital talent in competitive markets with. proven success building high‑performing team including planners, leaders, and analytics professionals.
Strong financial acumen and experience integrating planning with financial outcomes.
Exceptional executive communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
