Job Summary
This key leadership role will be responsible for leading the architecture & development for our Data and Analytics Data Platforms, Data Ingress & Data Egress tools, Security and access control architecture, architect & design data applications, provide platform support for all Data and Analytics Teams including Data Science, Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, ETL Development and Data Warehousing. Role is responsible for implementing efficient security procedures, work with CISO team to review data security schemes, and to lead the effort to establish new Projects with base data, data migration services and access controls.
This role will require extensive collaboration across the Data, Business Intelligence, Data Science, and Machine Learning organizations; providing critical data, metrics, and support to these teams to enable a transformation of ATUS's culture into an industry-leading, data-driven organization. This leader must be "hands-on"--leading by example where necessary-to collaboratively develop and implement analytical datamarts, tools, and metrics that serve dozens of internal use-cases. An ideal candidate will have a proven track record of transforming a data platform organization to facilitate self best-in-class capabilities.
Responsibilities

• Closely partner and collaborate across all facets of the DnA Organization to identify opportunities to simplify and accelerate the capabilities of the organization.
• Engage a talented team of data analysts, data scientists, business intelligence professionals, and data engineers that are dedicated to developing and productionizing best-in-class capabilities.
• Partner closely with CTIO organization to develop scalable and secure architecture to ingest new data sources and engineer and leverage our end to end data platform.
• Drive the roadmap for Data Platform that drives and promote a culture of Cloud Native Tools, CI/CD Development, Security and Automation.
• Drive the roadmap for 3rd part source data and work with Data and Analytics team to expand the metrics funnel by seeking and and implementing best in class source data.
• Establish a discipline fastidiously monitoring usage of existing and new data assets and tools-and leverage this information to inform the organization's strategy
• Develop a deep understanding of ATUS's key business drivers and leverage that understanding to inform the roadmap for data and analytic tools that drives the greatest ROI.
• Simplify complex concepts to business stakeholders to promote the understanding of the value of data platform and to promote excitement around the discipline
• Establish a culture of collaboration and excellence within the team - and across the Data & Analytics organization more broadly - ensuring both quality and speed.

Qualifications

• Deep competency with developing, and leading others to develop, effective data architecture and tools.
• Deep experience with a Google Cloud environment.
• Proven ability to collaborate with and build effective business partnerships at senior levels of the organization
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills with the ability to summarize deep technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Hands-on approach to learning the Altice USA business to quickly and thoughtfully augment the strategic value of the data platform.
• Growth mindset and mentally primed to take on challenges and adopt effective problem-solving strategies; encourages team to embrace growth mindsets
• Drive cloud native solutions by leading platform migrations, working with CTIO organization to implement best in class security & cloud practices, mentor team and assist with onboarding and mentoring all resources in Data and Analysis team.
• Expert with SQL, PYTHON, JAVA, Frameworks, API Development, Data Pipelines, Security Models & Access Controls.
• 10+ years related experience with B.S. Computer Science with M.S. preferred.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $149,940.00 - $214,200.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
