Job Description
Create and execute strategies that facilitate high impact growth and achievement critical to AFG and the Region's success. Drive accountability for the business results (~1,570 advisors in Mid-Atlantic) and financial management of the region. Ensure that the office of the Regional Vice President and the region is running efficiently and that all tools and processes required for the effective management of the business are fully integrated. Partner with multiple Franchise Field Vice Presidents (FFVPs) to drive consistent operational execution across territories to increase revenue leverage for sales region.This position is remote. Any expectations for travel or in-person collaboration will be discussed during the hiring process. This position is eligible for remote work in these locations: NY, NE, PA, NY Metro, DE, MD, VA, NC (Mid-Atlantic).

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage rigorous tracking, reporting, and analytic tools and processes to enable the Region and Territory Leadership team to proactively manage business results. Ensure that the office of the Regional Vice President (RVP) and the region is running efficiently and that all tools and processes required for the effective management of the business are fully integrated and utilized by the Field Vice Presidents and their teams. Lead the annual business planning process and periodic business reviews.
Responsible for daily management of regional operations, including financial management and reporting. Ensure that sound business processes are in place to proactively manage and track revenues, expenses, and recoveries. Develop and manage Region communications and systems, to effectively engage advisors in growth and development opportunities, maintain culture and community for advisors, and provide support and direction to leadership team.
Lead and manage implementation planning and execution for all Region-wide initiatives (e.g, advisor training and development conferences), as well as for any major projects and initiatives that impact the field (e.g., major systems and process changes). Provide support to the RVP on all strategic planning and initiatives for the Region as well in development of new tools, resources, and processes designed to increase efficiency and create leverage.
Partner with RVP to formulate strategies, tactics and supporting plans to deliver on the assigned national Strategic Imperatives, as well as the growth goals for the region. Act as a delegate for the RVP at Regional and strategic partner meetings (e.g. Field team meetings, Strategic Imperative meetings, Corporate Partner 1:1s and RVP meetings).
Provide leadership and direction to the entire Region Field Leadership team including work direction, training and development, performance management and reviews. Manage the mid-year and year-end review process, and the development planning process for all members of the team under the direct leadership of the RVP.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
10+ years’ relevant experience required.
Proven ability to drive results and track success against key metrics and priorities.
Demonstrated financial management skills (total P&L) and experience.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
Knowledge and ability to effectively apply corporate policies.
Demonstrated experience in utilizing desktop tools in the development and maintenance of business systems and reports. Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree or equivalent
Series 24, Series 7 and 63 licenses
Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $122,400 - $183,600 / year. We have a pay-for- performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
