Sr Digital IT Communications Specialist serves as the strategic internal communications partner for Honeywell’s Digital IT organization, with primary responsibility for the IT Networks, Infrastructure, and Digital Employee Experience function. The role provides trusted counsel to IT leaders, translating complex technology initiatives into clear, compelling, and business aligned communications. Responsible for leading strategic planning and execution for key IT programs, this individual develops and delivers integrated communication strategies and campaigns that drive understanding, adoption, and engagement in a fast paced, dynamic environment—strengthening employee connection to IT services and reinforcing alignment with Honeywell’s enterprise strategy.
Strong storytelling capability is essential, with the ability to partner closely with IT leaders and Corporate Communications to craft audience centric narratives that connect employees to IT capabilities, leadership priorities, and enterprise initiatives. A strong fluency in analytics is equally critical, enabling the role to measure communication effectiveness, analyze engagement data, and apply insights to continuously improve IT communications and support informed decision making across the Digital IT organization.

You will report directly to our Sr IT Manager and matrixed to VP Communications Leadership for CIO and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Partner with Digital IT leaders to develop and execute internal communications strategies that strengthen employee engagement, understanding, and alignment with Honeywell’s growth and enterprise priorities.
• Lead communications for IT initiatives, services, organizational changes, and leadership transitions, translating complex technology topics into clear, relevant, and audience appropriate messaging.
• Drive measurement and analytics across IT communications to assess effectiveness, surface insights, and continuously improve engagement and outcomes.
• Elevate the quality and impact of communications by guiding content strategy and storytelling, ensuring messages are simple, visually compelling, and easy for employees to understand and act on.
• Oversee and contribute to editorial planning and multi channel execution in partnership with Corporate Communications, supporting Digital IT priorities and reinforcing Honeywell’s growth narrative.
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated successful experience in internal communications in a corporate or an agency environment.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication are required, as is mastery of English.
