ob Title: Sr. DevOps Engineer
Job Summary: An AWS DevOps Engineer is responsible for managing and automating the infrastructure and deployment processes on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role involves working closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure efficient and secure deployment of applications and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Packer, or Ansible.
- Monitor and optimize the performance, scalability, and security of AWS environments.
- Collaborate with development and ops teams to ensure streamlined building and deployment of applications.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and performance.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and policies.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, EKS, Kafka, Airflow).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate in English (both spoken and written) required
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
- Previous experience working in a regulated environment (Healthcare, Life Sciences) preferred
