We have an opportunity for a Senior Demand Planner to join us at Honeywell. As a Sr Demand Planner, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and aligning volume & revenue forecasts for assigned businesses and or channels. You will ensure that regional sales forecasts are visible, planned and supported through the supply chain while delivering customer satisfaction and improving inventory and working capital year over year. This position will interface with sales and offering organizations, utilizing statistics, sales projects, and market intelligence to develop a rolling 18-month SKU level demand plan. This position is the linkage between sales forecasting, marketing programs and manufacturing, bringing closer alignment to the Sales Inventory & Operations Planning Process.
You will report directly to our Sr Demand Planning Supervisor, and you’ll work in our Bucharest location on a Hybrid (3 days in the office + 2 days from home) work schedule.
Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate regional demand planning meetings to capture input from marketing, sales & Offering Management
- Validate or adjust the baseline statistical forecasts to reflect the Regional sales leaders input including won/lost customer demand, other customer and competitor behavior
- Review Salesforce.com data with sales teams to determine appropriate adjustments that reflect un-forecasted demand spikes
- Document major risks and assumptions in consensus demand plan (CDP), including the coordination of new products, projects, promotions, events and/or customer planning activities.
- Develops a volume and value$ demand forecast at multiple levels of aggregation with a min of 12-18 months’ time horizon and makes CDP (Consensus Demand Plan) recommendations
- Understand and document gaps between Consensus Demand Plan v AOP
- Collaborates with CI teams in order to understand market evolution and incorporates market leading indicators to demand planning process
- Maintains FG SIOP Classification and drives Portfolio Rationalization.
- Work with Sales & Marketing to provide root cause analysis and corrective actions to continually improve demand forecast accuracy (wMAPA, BIAS)
- Partner with SIOP process team and supply planners to facilitate maximum customer satisfaction, stakeholder satisfaction and financial performance.
- Partner with the SBG COE team to adopt Honeywell GDM policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, accounting, operations management, marketing or supply chain management
- 2-5 years of experience in operations planning/scheduling, materials management or Sales Inventory & Operations Planning or related supply chain functional area.
