Sr. Database Administrator - 資深資料庫管理員

作為一位資料庫管理員，您將會負責設計、調校並監控資料庫的運作，明確而言您會需要分析並改進系統效能並對於資訊安全相關的問題要能主動採取行動，確保資料庫系統能夠穩定且持續的運作。並且當事故發生時，您能及時確定影響範圍並有能力在合理的範圍內將資料還原。

職務職掌:

• 建構資料庫系統所使用的叢集及非叢集的 VM 以及 SaaS服務
• 確保資料庫的效能、安全及可用性
• 視需要提供資料庫相關的文件
• 透過工具或撰寫腳本操作資料庫的日常維運，像是升級、備份、還原或搬遷
• 取樣資料庫資源的使用情形，並能視需要優化及調整
• 透過工具監控資料庫的運作，並與團隊處理緊急事故
• 分析使用者的問題並轉化為資料庫查詢語句

如果您具備以下工作技能及工作經驗，請不要猶豫立即手刀提出申請:

• 至少需三年以上操作 Linux 的相關經驗，以及 MySQL、Mongo、Redis 其中兩項的管理經驗
• 具備資料庫系統的業界標準或最佳實作的知識
• 能夠撰寫有效及優化後的資料庫查詢語句
• 具備能力完成資料庫的資源需求規劃
• 瞭解並掌握資料庫相關的限制並能提供當下有效的解決方案
• 具備處理資料庫緊急事故的經驗
• 良好的溝通技能

加分條件:

• 熟悉其他資料庫例如 PostgreSQL, TiDB, Elasticserach
• 熟悉GCP相關服務
• 熟悉網路結構，能夠確保資料庫網路安全
• 熟悉資料生態系

Responsibility

• Provision DB instances and SaaS services, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations
• Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
• Prepare documentations and specifications if required
• Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration with tools or scripts.
• Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary
• Monitor database performance with tools and able to solve emergency issues with team
• Able to analyze user’s questions and transform to SQL queries to fulfill their requirement   
  

Must Have

• At least 3 years experience in managing Linux operations and management experience with two of the following: MySQL, MongoDB, Redis.
• Knowledge of de-facto standards and best practices in RDBMS
• Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements
• Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications
• Knowledge of limitations in RDB and their workarounds in contrast to other popular relational databases
• Experience in database incident management/resolution
• Strong communication skills 

Good to Have:

• Familiar with other databases such as PostgreSQL, TiDB, Elasticsearch
• Familiar with GCP-related services
• Familiar with network architecture, able to ensure database network security
• Familiar with the data ecosystem
