Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer and Analyst proficient in DataStage, Oracle, Databricks, and Power BI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration of data from multiple sources. They should have strong analytical skills to derive insights and create dashboards, leveraging Power BI for reporting. Experience in optimizing data workflows and ensuring data quality is essential. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business needs and enhance decision-making processes through data-driven insights.
- You provide guidance on describing enterprise or vehicle performance and can craft ad-hoc reports to share findings and recommendations with business partners.
- You thrive in reciprocal environments with leaders and managers to resolve and address ad-hoc data and reporting needs.
- You perform testing and validation of data sets.
- You enjoy the challenge of determining the meaning of data and explaining how various teams and leaders can leverage it to improve and streamline their processes
- You must be able to support and fix production issues
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
In addition to being insightful and generally clever, you have at least 7 years of experience in most of the following:
- Data Integration: SQL; NoSQL(Hadoop); DataStage, Azure Databricks
- Business Intelligence/Reporting Tools: Power BI, Excel
- Databases: Oracle, Databricks
-Scheduler: Tidal
- Using your extensive experience, data, and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Understanding of data gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling/diagramming techniques
- Communication skills with the ability to distill complex subjects to a wider audience
- Excellent collaboration and project management skills
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren, Michigan three times per week, at minimum.
