The starting salary range for this position is $80,000 - $85,000 annually. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package of medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, 401k with company match, and paid time off. If you are hired at Winebow, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide accounting support for the monthly financial closing process to include: account reconciliation for accurate reporting, departmental financial review and variance analysis, budget monitoring, journal entry preparation and/or review.
Ensure corporate reporting alignment with U.S. GAAP and industry compliance standards.
Provide input for internal control enhancements and process efficiencies.
Review monthly reconciliations and analysis prepared by staff accountants.
Assist in the preparation and review of monthly and annual corporate financial statements.
Assist with the preparation of audit support schedules for external auditors.
Completes special projects as necessary.
Meets agreed upon goals and objectives effectively and in a timely manner.
Prepares ad hoc reports to provide requested information to internal and external customers.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
Follows all safety policies and procedures; communicates hazards and/or suggests improvements to manager.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree
CPA license required
3-5 years experience in public accounting, auditing preferred
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is located in the corporate headquarters in Glen Allen, VA. Winebow offers a hybrid working environment with remote access to all required systems.
EQUIPMENT/MACHINERY USED
Office equipment including computer, telephone, copier, calculator, and printer.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Sitting, lifting up to 10 lbs., repetitive motion with hands for typing, bending, manual dexterity, visual acuity, driving.
Skills Required
