About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, effective, agile, proactive and outstanding individual to manage a significant portion of the day-to-day operations of the contracts administration and management function, who is reporting to the Sr. Director of Contracts, who reports to the General Counsel.
*This role is hybrid remote and will require 1 day a week in our La Jolla, CA office*
Essential Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire contract lifecycle from contract initiation to contract execution
- Assist Sr. Director of Contracts with meeting with stakeholders, and documenting and training other personnel on required contracts-related practices and procedures
- Manage a contracts management database and online contracts administration tools
- Review contracts signed by Platform Science and accurately and succinctly/comprehensively summarize pertinent dates, contract obligations and terms and deviations from approved Company templates so that they may be appropriately tracked through Company tools
- Administer and manage day-to-day contract functions: initiating contract signatures, archiving documents, contract tracking, reporting and data entry
- Partner with the Program Management function to translate PS contractual obligations into tracked, measured internal tasks or other operational parameters
- Collaborate with the Finance department and other internal stakeholders to ensure contract renewals are considered and implemented in an appropriate manner
- Manage vendor form agreements and vendor agreement process with the procurement team
- Manage the NDA process
- Administer the negotiation of certain contracts and help determine issues for legal, financial or other functional team review
Experience
- 10+ years of progressive, substantial, and successful experience with contracts management and administration, preferably in the technology industry including: software licensing, hardware procurement, professional services, and NDAs
- Experience with contract administration, contract negotiation, contract reviews, preparation of contract summaries, business processes, redlining and documenting the same as well as training appropriate personnel throughout the Company
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic, matrixed environment that is rapidly scaling
- Bachelor’s degree

This is an exempt role. Our job titles for each posting may span across more than one job level. The estimated base salary for this role is between $122,905 and $165,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target range for new hire base salaries across all US locations. Compensation packages are based on many factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, work experience, relevant trainings and certifications, business needs, market demands and specific geographical location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
