Sr. Contract Recruiter

At XiFin, we believe a healthier, more efficient healthcare system starts with strong financial and operational foundations. Our innovative technologies help diagnostic providers, laboratories, and healthcare systems manage complexity, drive better outcomes, and stay focused on what matters most: patient care.
We’re on a mission to simplify the business side of healthcare—and we know that mission takes people from all backgrounds and experiences. Whether you’re early in your career or bringing years of expertise, we welcome your perspective, your curiosity, and your passion. We value individuals who ask questions, challenge the status quo, and want to grow while making a real difference.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Contract Recruiter who can step in quickly, take ownership of open positions, and deliver high-quality talent.
This role is for someone who has built their career around recruiting and knows how to hit the ground running. You love the hunt, know how to find talent others may not, can evaluate candidates beyond the resume, and understand that great recruiting is about quality, not simply filling a requisition.
You will work directly with hiring managers and leaders across the organization, from front-line management through the executive level, and independently own your searches from beginning to end. From the initial intake through sourcing, interviewing, candidate presentation, offer and close, you own the search.
How you will make an impact:
In this role, you’ll:
- Quickly take ownership of assigned requisitions and develop a clear understanding of the business need, role requirements, success profile, and candidate market.
- Lead effective intake conversations with hiring managers, asking the right questions to get beyond the job description and understand who they really need.
- Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to identify high-quality talent, including passive candidates who may not be actively looking.
- Source, engage, interview, and assess candidates, looking beyond the resume to understand capabilities, motivation, communication skills, and alignment with the opportunity.
- Present hiring managers with high-quality, well-vetted candidates, focusing on the strength of the slate rather than the volume of resumes.
- Build credibility quickly with hiring managers and leaders, providing candid market insight, recruiting expertise, and recommendations throughout the search.
- Keep searches moving by proactively identifying challenges, adjusting strategies, and maintaining consistent communication with hiring managers and candidates.
- Manage the entire candidate journey, including sourcing, screening, candidate presentation, interview management, feedback, offers, negotiation, and closing.
- Deliver a strong candidate experience through responsive, transparent, and timely communication.
- Represent the company and our opportunities in a compelling and authentic way to prospective candidates maintaining strong communication throughout the process and delivering an excellent candidate experience regardless of outcome
- Manage candidate submissions, interview coordination, feedback, offer development and negotiation, and pre-close activities within the ATS
- Keep hiring managers informed on pipeline quality, market challenges, search progress, and recommended adjustments.
- Take complete ownership for assigned requisitions, proactively identifying and resolving issues rather than waiting for direction.
What you will bring to the role:
You might be a great fit if you:
- Are driven by quality and take pride in finding the right candidate, not simply filling a position.
- Are a self-starter who can come into a new environment, quickly figure out what needs to be done, and get moving.
- Are naturally curious and ask the questions that help you quickly understand the business, the role, and what will make someone successful.
- Are an exceptional communicator who builds credibility quickly and can connect just as effectively with a candidate as you can with a senior executive.
- Are confident and consultative. You bring a point of view, provide candid feedback, and aren't afraid to respectfully challenge assumptions when needed.
- Gave strong instincts about people and know when to dig deeper rather than accepting a resume or interview response at face value.
- Are proactive and resourceful. When one approach isn't producing the right talent, you change the strategy and keep going.
- Are organized, responsive, and comfortable managing competing searches and priorities.
- Are persistent and resilient. A difficult search motivates you to find another path to the right talent.
- Care about the candidate experience and understand that every interaction represents the company.
- Most importantly, recruiting is your craft. You love finding great people, and this is the work you want to do.
Skills and experience you have:
You don’t need to check every box. We will consider a combination of education and experience, including:
- 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a career primarily focused on talent acquisition and recruiting.
- Demonstrated success stepping into new organizations or recruiting environments and independently managing searches with minimal ramp-up.
- A proven track record of identifying, recruiting, and closing high-quality talent across professional, leadership, and executive-level positions.
- Deep experience with proactive sourcing and the ability to identify and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, referrals, targeted research, and other sourcing strategies.
- Proven experience independently managing the entire recruiting lifecycle, including intake, sourcing strategy, candidate outreach, interviewing and assessment, candidate presentation, interview management, offers, negotiation, and closing.
- Experience partnering directly with senior and executive leaders and the ability to establish credibility quickly at all levels of an organization.
- Demonstrated ability to translate a hiring manager's needs into a clear candidate profile and effective search strategy.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent searches while maintaining quality, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
- Strong working knowledge of applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other recruiting and sourcing technologies.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, including the ability to understand candidate motivations, anticipate concerns, and successfully navigate offers.
