IQVIA's Emerging Biopharma Analytics team provides data driven analytical solutions for life sciences commercial teams, with a deep understanding of oncology and specialty markets. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible to create and deliver data-driven analytical solutions for our clients. Senior Consultants leverage their analytical, technical and communication skills to solve client’s business problems and provide high impact end-to-end statistical and consulting solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Sr. Consultants are primarily responsible for leading project execution by understanding the client’s problem statement, designing analysis/model framework that works best, and coordinating team meetings to communicate the model results.
- Creating Promotion Response Models, Sales Force Sizing Structure, Incentive Compensation Design and Goal setting models for our clients’ sales teams.
- Developing prescriber targeting lists using advanced technical tools like R, Tableau, Python, SAS and Excel.
- Fostering client relationships and serve as key point of contact to answer business questions from clients.
- Mentoring associates and consultants, guiding them on advanced analytics and help define their goals and provide feedback.
- Assisting with firm initiatives on recruiting, learning and development, practice area expertise.
Candidates interested in joining the Emerging Biopharma Analytics team as a Senior Consultant should have:
- At least 5-8 years of experience in management consulting, data analytics or similar roles in biotech / pharma.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex analysis into strategic insights and recommendations for sales and marketing teams.
- Deep, working knowledge of healthcare data sets (IQVIA, Symphony, Secondary Market Research etc.).
- Direct experience working with SAS, SQL, R, Tableau, Qlikview.
- Experience working within an onshore/offshore staffing model preferred.
- Results-driven mindset with focus on excellence and quality.
In addition to the skills and experience above, candidates interested in joining our team should have:
- Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, or science.
- Master’s in Science, Technology or MBA is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Prior experience managing both clients and project teams.
Please note: This hybrid role requires 2-3 days of work onsite each week in either San Mateo, CA or New York, NY.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $146,300.00 - $243,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
