We are seeking an Sr. Advanced Software Engineer to join our development team in building the next generation Avionics SaaS tools to enable our users to build and integrate their critical applications within their aircraft systems. The product you will be designing and developing is a distributed, event-driven, microservices platform. You will leverage your skills to develop features within a containerized and decoupled microservices architecture.
In this role, you will design, build, test, and deployment of new features leveraging DevOps continuous delivery practices. You will be coached and mentored by senior engineers to you grow your software engineering skills through relevant and challenging on the job opportunities.
You will work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. No relocation offered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and test new features.
- Learn and use continuous delivery skills including the writing, and integration of Unit, Functional, Contract tests and Canary deployment strategies.
- Diagnose and address problems.
- Occasional off-shift activity for production support issues.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a software engineering role and code development using Object Oriented languages.
- Experience in C# based cloud first development.
- Experience with Microservices architecture solutions.
