The Role

Description
Hybrid role: This position requires to work 3 days on site 2 days at home remote on a full-time basis
Partner with Program Managers to represent purchasing and communicate program requirements/vehicle line overview.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to work effectively cross functionally, both internally and externally and build relationships
- Experience within electrical and harnesses.
- Experience handling commercial issues with suppliers and assessing supplier performance
- Proven competence in negotiating skills
- Professional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
PREFERRED CRITICAL SKILLS:
- Automotive industry experience
- Knowledge of procurement software
- Knowledge of materials management
- Capable of interpreting market data
- Able to read blueprints and to understand basic engineering documents
- Solid knowledge of contract law and its applications regarding purchasing processes
Additional Description
The role is complex in nature, with a high degree of initiative, analytical work and independent judgment, additional responsibilities: Clear understanding of variations in the new product development process.
Activities related to project tendering, component strategy and cross-functional coordination and alignment for supplier selection, including the analysis of the associated documentation of both the company and suppliers. Interaction and follow-up with a supplier and the fulfillment of the supply in time of the harnesses of a vehicle, solution of problems directly related to the supplier and the supply.
Follow up on the development of the assigned supplier.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: Engineering, business or similar
-English Level: Advanced.
