As a Sr. Manager Risk and Resilience here at Honeywell, you will lead the development, implementation, and management of business continuity and disaster recovery strategies to ensure the resilience and operational continuity of our Building Automation business. You will play a critical role in safeguarding our business operations against disruptions and ensuring rapid recovery in the event of incidents.
You will report directly to our VP HS&E and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the stability and reliability of Honeywell’s Building Automation operations by creating robust continuity plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving risk mitigation initiatives that protect our assets, employees, and customers.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, maintain, and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans specific to Building Automation operations.
- Lead risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify vulnerabilities and critical business functions.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to implement continuity strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 5+ years proven experience in business continuity management, disaster recovery planning, and risk management within a complex industrial or technology environment.
- Strong knowledge of business continuity frameworks, standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to Building Automation or related industries.
- Expertise in conducting business impact analyses, risk assessments, and developing mitigation strategies that ensure operational resilience.
- Familiarity with continuity planning tools, incident management software, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in the Building Automation or Industrial Automation sectors is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
