As the Senior Business Analyst, you will build the reports, Power BI dashboards, and analyses that help improve performance across complex warehouse and eCommerce operations. Partnering with Operations, Continuous Improvement, Finance, IT, and Data Engineering, you will transform operational data into reliable visibility and actionable recommendations that improve productivity, labor efficiency, capacity utilization, service, and overall operational performance.

Work Schedule: First Shift: Monday–Friday, with flexibility based on business and operational needs.
Work Travel: Periodic domestic site travel depending on the needs of the business and subject to change.

Key ResponsibilitiesOwn Power BI reports and dashboards from requirements gathering and data preparation through modeling, visualization, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
Build reusable reporting solutions that provide site-level visibility while supporting consistent reporting across assigned operations.
Develop DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and efficient semantic models while managing report refresh, access, navigation, drill-down capabilities, and performance within established IT standards.
Analyze operational performance across volume, inbound and outbound activity, labor hours, productivity, overtime, staffing coverage, backlog, quality, capacity, and service levels.
Investigate performance drivers and identify root causes by distinguishing true operational changes from data issues, activity-mix changes, or reporting inconsistencies.
Develop analyses of labor requirements, capacity constraints, productivity opportunities, and operational improvements, including quantifying potential benefits and trade-offs.
Partner with Operations and Finance to recommend actions and validate results following implementation.
Write and optimize SQL to combine, transform, and validate approved data from warehouse, labor, timekeeping, and other relevant systems.
Build reporting-ready datasets and coordinate upstream data requirements with IT and Data Engineering.
Establish and document consistent KPI definitions, source lineage, calculation logic, and reporting cutoffs.
Reconcile reporting to source systems and identify and resolve duplicate records, missing data, inconsistent mappings, and discrepancies in volume or labor-hour definitions before information is published.
Automate recurring reporting by replacing avoidable manual data extraction, spreadsheet manipulation, and report distribution with repeatable and maintainable workflows.
Implement refresh monitoring, validation checks, and exception handling to help users quickly identify stale, incomplete, or inaccurate information.
Maintain reporting documentation, testing, and change controls while continuously improving reports based on user feedback and business value.
Support reliable daily, weekly, and monthly operational reviews and retire redundant or low-value reporting when appropriate.
Translate questions from site and regional leaders into clear analytical requirements and prioritized reporting or analysis plans.
Develop a strong understanding of warehouse processes and validate analytical interpretations with the teams performing and managing the work.
Communicate findings, recommendations, risks, and limitations in clear language that both technical and non-technical audiences can understand and use.
Train report users, support internal and customer-facing business reviews as needed, and partner with Finance and IT to promote consistent metrics and avoid duplicate reporting solutions.

4+ years of experience in business intelligence, operations analytics, or a related analytical role, including substantial hands-on development of reporting solutions used by business stakeholders.
Direct experience supporting 3PL, forward logistics, warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment operations.
Strong understanding of how material flow, labor deployment, activity mix, productivity, capacity, and service requirements impact operational performance.
Demonstrated ability to build production-quality reporting solutions from scratch using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
Advanced experience with DAX, Power Query/M, semantic modeling, publishing, scheduled refresh, row-level security, and Power BI performance troubleshooting.
Strong SQL skills, including experience with multi-table joins, common table expressions (CTEs), window functions, aggregations, and query troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of data grain, relational keys, fact and dimension models, filter behavior, and methods for preventing double-counting or misleading KPI calculations.
Ability to frame business questions, validate assumptions, investigate root causes, and translate analytical findings into practical business recommendations.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings and complex data to non-technical operational leaders and business partners.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, self-review deliverables, and follow through on data or reporting issues.
