We’re looking for a passionate and innovative Senior UX Designer to join our vibrant team in Toronto. If you’re a problem-solver who believes in putting users first and thrives in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you! You’ll play a crucial role in creating impactful digital experiences from initial concept to final delivery. Working alongside strategy, research, technology, and analytics teams, you’ll help us set and maintain the highest standards of design excellence.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with the team to craft, enhance, and optimize a variety of digital projects, including websites, mobile apps, e-commerce platforms, and interactive experiences.
- Develop and nurture a scalable design system that ensures consistency and accessibility across all digital platforms.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth design handoffs and alignment with business goals.
- Stay curious and up-to-date with the latest UX trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research (desk research, benchmark, surveys, in-depth interviews, personas, user journeys).
- Apply Design Thinking and UX/UI (service blueprint, navigation flows, information architecture, wireframes, interactive prototypes, gamification, layout, usability tests) in projects of varied nature.
Who You Are:
- Bring 5 to 8 years of solid UX/UI design experience to the table.
- Have a strong grasp of UX design best practices and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design principles.
- Have a proven track record of developing, maintaining, and implementing design systems.
- Comfortable working in systems handling variables and modes in Figma.
- Skills in typography, layout, and composition are exceptional.
- Possess a solid understanding of current web design principles and usability best practices.
- Have a good understanding of the technical foundations of websites and applications.
- Communicate your design rationale clearly and concisely.
- Passionate about UX, innovation, and continuously learning about industry trends.
