The Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining automation for GCP platform services using Terraform and Ansible
• Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives across GCP environments
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for cloud infrastructure
• Help automate provisioning, configuration, and updates of GCP resources
• Collaborate with senior platform engineers, DevOps, and application teams on platform initiatives
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving automation or deployment issues
• Follow enterprise standards, documentation guidelines, and best practices
• Learn and adopt cloud-native tools, security practices, and operational procedures

Who You Are

Required Skills:

• Good understanding of GCP services (Compute, Storage, Networking, IAM)
• Hands on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tool - Terraform
• Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD concepts
• Familiarity with Windows & Linux systems and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
• Working knowledge of Git-based version control systems
• Strong willingness to learn and collaborate within a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) or monitoring tools
• At least one cloud certification (Ex: Google Associate Cloud Engineer, Terraform Associate)
